• Precision Starting: As with professional-grade core drills, this unit performs best with a steady start. We advise using a custom-built wooden or metal template to stabilize the bit and prevent wandering during the initial cut.
• Safety and Control: Given the high-torque output, always maintain a firm two-handed grip. Since this model does not feature an electronic clutch, ensure your stance is stable to manage potential bit binding.
• Maintenance and Bit Removal: To prevent core bits from seizing, apply a high-temperature anti-seize compound to the threads before installation. We recommend keeping a set of heavy-duty pipe wrenches on-site to facilitate easier bit removal after heavy-duty drilling.
